Day 4
We are home!
We are home after I think what must have been te most traumatic, stressful and draining 2 days of my life.
Even in the midst of it all I am so grateful for what God has done in my little girl's life, she learned to pray and ask Jesus to heal her; Mommy had to learn how to deal with anxiety and trust Jesus a new with her kids.
It's a humbling experience when you are in a position where you need to learn to trust someone else with your kids. You are supposed to be the strong, full of faith mom, who can encourage others when they go through trying times.
It' s a frightening experience to be isolated with all your emotions, and there is no one to talk and just unpack what you think or feel.
It is a cross that you as a mommy bare, it is part and parcel of being a parent.
I had a glimps of what Jesus went through when He walk the road to Golgatha. It was a lonely road, a road filled with fear and anxiety. Even though there were people around Him, He had no one to unpack the emotions He was feeling; the anxiety He was feeling. He had to bare His cross alone. He had to go through everything alone so that we don't have too.
The Bible speaks of Jesus in His final hours He cried out "Eli Eli lama sabachthani"
Jesus felt utterly forsaken, and helpless. He knows exactly how we feel when we go through valleys.
The difference between us and Jesus' experience were that His Father did leave Him, so that we never have to go through that total abandonment and loneliness.
Our situations are very real, and cause alot of emotions to flood our soul, which many times lead to frustration and the central feeling of loneliness. We then try to cope with our emotions on our own and at the end it overwhelmes us and we land up in total despair. We lose site of the truth thay God says He will never leave us nor forsake us; and that we should take up His burden and give ours to Him.
Load our emotions on Him.
We do this by laying down our pride and acknowledging our dependence on Him.
I want to encourage you that as you spend time with God tell God how you feel and what you are go.
Look at your situation and see God's truth about your situation.
Know that in the midst of your anxiety Jesus is there and He is not leaving you when you fall apart. He is there to catch you when you fall and put you back together again. That ia just how good He is. You are so important to Him. He lovers yoi more than you could ever comprehend.

Prayer
Father thank that you for loving me so much!
I humble myself before You and ask that You would come and take all my concerns.
Make me aware of Your presence no matter in which season of life I might find myself in.
I pray that You would teach me to unpack my emotions in Your presence.
Amen
