Day 6
Another day in #lockdownSA has come and gone. There are so many people on social media and each is saying something about the time we find ourselves in.
Many says this is the sign of the end times; and that Jesus is coming back soon.
If you are a Christian this is an exciting time to be alive, but it can also be a time of great fear.
However, there is still a great work to be done before Jesus will come back.
The Word says in Matt 24:14 that the end will come when the Gosple had been preached to every nation and tribe.
There is still some work to be done, as there are still a number of unreached ethnic groups that has never heard the Gosple.
And even if the last person on earth has heard the Gosple, Jesus did not give a time line and said on this day at this time will I come back.
However, it is still so very crucial for us to stay faithful and know that we have a great work to do.
We were called by His name, for His purposes. We have been called to fulfill the great commission. Your testimony becomes your greatest weapon against the enemy and God will turn you ashes into beauty. You see no one can take your testimony because its your reality.
I want to encourage you to quiet the voices and ask God to speak to you and tell you what He is saying. Ask Him how you can be part of the labourers to get the harvest in.
Don't go to God out of fear of the things that is happening, go to Him because you love Him and have a relationship with Him. He will tell you everything you need to know about the times we find ourselves in.
Readings
And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.
Matthew 24:14 AMPC
To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion–to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit–that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3 AMPC
Prayer
Father thank you for taking my broken life and making it whole.
Use me to your glory! Reveal to me who I am in you!
