On Discovery for 21 days

What a beautiful day to be alive! How thankful are you to be alive today?

Have you stopped today and thanked Jesus that you are alive! Things could have been much worse than what it is right now.

David says in Ps 34, "I will bless the Lord at all times"

The Hebrew translation says " I will make a bracha of praise
The Hebrew word for blessing is Bracha/berakhah. In the Jewish culture there are different Berukah's that they recite
There's a Berukhah for every occassion.
David says that he will recite a blessing full of praise unto the Lord., at ALL times. This bracha will come from a heart full of thanksgiving! This bracha of praise will continually be on his lips.
He says in the good  but especially in the bad times hear this bracha of praise and do not forget it.
You see David knew where his strenght was. David knew that when things gets tough, the best place to be is to remember the goodness of God, by praising God. Reciting his bracha of praise.
In the good times, build a bracha of praise unto the Lord, so that in the tough times you are able to remember the goodness of God when your recite the bracha of praise! There's something about blessing the Lord when things goes haywire. There's authority in your praise and thanksgiving that shake the foundations of hell, that shift atmospheres.
When we praise we shift our focus and heart towards heaven.  We are proclaiming that He has done it before,  and He will do it again!

I want to encourage you, to write down your own bracha of praise and recite it in the good and the bad times.
When you come through a valley, you will have more to add to your bracha of praise unto the Lord!
Every victory, gives us the opportunity and the words to descibe the Goodness of God!
